The town of Ilfracombe is a 10 minute drive and offers a range of shops, pubs and traditional quayside with fishing and day trips to Lundy Island available. Walkers will enjoy the National Trust cliff-tops as well as the rugged Valley of the Rocks and Exmoor with its views and varied wildlife. For attractions, there are a range to suit most tastes and these include Watermouth Castle, Once Upon a Time, Exmoor Zoological Gardens, Arlington Court and more. After a busy day, relax in the garden with views over countryside or visit one of many local village inns and restaurants for a good meal. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels and Wi-fi included. Electric and central heating included from 1 October - 31 March twice daily (additional heating available by request, to be paid locally). Location: beach 3 miles, pub and shop 1 mile. The accommodation is a first floor 'loft style' compact yet beautifully appointed apartment adjoining the owner's property with its own entrance and offers TWO bedrooms: a step down to 1 double and 1 zip-and-link twin which can be made into a super-king-size on request. Shower room: compact with storage and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: with valley views, TV, DVD and Freeview. Step down to dining area with seating for 4. Kitchen area with cooker, electric hob, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and many useful extras. Outside: use of large garden with seating. Amenities: regret no pets. Additional info: storage available for short boards, body boards and bikes etc. Regret not suitable for children under 5 years.

The small harbour town of Ilfracombe on the north Devon coast of England has long been a favourite with tourists. It is located within a few miles of Woolacombe, Berrynarbor, West Down, Lee, Middle Marwood, and Combe Martin and is one of over three hundred towns or villages in Devon in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The nearest major cities are Plymouth and Exeter.
Ilfracombe is set in a natural harbour with some steep hillsides and cliffs leading down to the town centre. It's port still provides home to a number of fishing vessels and there are daily boat trips available from its picturesque harbour. Holidaymakers are well catered for with a number of hotels, guest houses and self catering cottages, as well as numerous small shops, cafes and restaurants.
